TOP NOTCH TUESDAY

Well done to the many more students using Quizlet this week - an improvement on last week. Some of you may not be logging when you use it, please do or we can't see you! Also if you use a name we can't recognise - we can't credit you - sorry SuperSWag2006!

Motivational Monday

¡Feliz lunes queridos alumnos! ✌

¡Continuad siendo geniales! 🌟 Hasta pronto 🔜.

¿Quién puede traducir el párafo al inglés? Podéis utilizar https://www.spanishdict.com/ para ayudaros.

Thankful Thursday

What are you thankful for this week?

In these challenging times, it can be hard to remember all the things we have to be grateful for but why not take inspiration from what the Spanish department are thankful for?

You might be inspired to take up something new or find a new way to show gratitude.

Motivational Monday

¡Hola queridos estudiantes! 😃

This is just to remind you that success comes with every little step that you take every day! So although we are faced with hardships at the moment, set small goals every day 📔 and if you are resilient every day, you will see the outcome at the end! 💡 There is a light at the end of the tunnel so keep it up! 🌈 Keep working hard! 💪 Keep being awesome! 🌟

P.s.: Can you figure out what the below means❓❔

Fun Friday!

¡Buenos dias estudiantes de COLASP! ES VIERNES😎
Today we are going to learn about why the 23rd/April is that important to Spanish people: DIA DE SAN JORGE y EL DIA DEL LIBRO Y LAS ROSAS.(Books and roses day/St Georoge's day)

Are you able to translate the story into English?
Send us your translations via email and we will let your head of years know for the reward trips. 🗺

Thankful Thursday

To celebrate Thankful Thursday  we would like to share a video with you from one Ms Johnstone's old pupils from Madrid called Alvaro. His record company have used the money raised from a music festival to make face masks for medical staff and he is very thankful for all donations that have been sent in.

The video has subtitles (so don't worry if Alvaro speaks quickly!) but if you want to challenge yourself, why not listen to the audio first to see what you understand? This is a great way to practise your listening skills.

Can you think of something that you are thankful for? Why not read the Spanish department's thankful thoughts for inspiration....
